About the Author

John Webster is Professor of Systematic Theology at the University of Aberdeen, UK. His published work includes a number of books on the theology of Karl Barth, on the nature and interpretation of Scripture, and on Christian dogmatics, including Confessing God. He edited The Oxford Handbook to Systematic Theology, and is an editor of The International Journal of Systematic Theology. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.

About the Author
Doug Hopton was with the Barclays Bank Group for over 37 years before setting up DTH Associates Ltd, the consultancy he runs on financial crime prevention. For 24 years he worked in group internal audit, involved in fraud investigation and compliance worldwide with anti-money laundering legislation. He was for many years Head of Group Fraud and Money Laundering Prevention and was the Barclays Group Money Laundering Reporting Officer. He was also chairman on the Mainstream Banking Advisory Panel of the UK Joint Money Laundering Steering Group and a member of the former HM Treasury Money Laundering Experts Group.

The great work of Charles

I recommend this book with zeal. Charles has accomplished the restoration of the order of Greek text, especially chapter 20 to chapter 22. Without saying, this part is the core of the Revelation of St John.

He did it through his detailed investigation as well as the Book of Enoch. Some scholars insist that the content of the Apocalypse is not chronologically but theologically and thematically conceived.

It is not the wrong, but Charles did not intend to make up to restore its order only chronologically without any reason. He constructed the true composition of the Revelation which might be edited precisely at that time in the St John's era. It is quite clear when anyone reads his translation or restored Greek text of this section earnestly.

Truly, Charles revealed the right composition of the Revelation of St John.
